Opening title for Fail Safe (1964). Fail Safe was adapted from a novel of the same name by two Professors Eugene Burdick and Harvey Wheeler. Based on Wheeler’s short story “Abraham ‘59”, the story was published in a serialized form for the Saturday Evening Post and as a novel during the Cuban missile crisis.
